Dust PR London handled the UK press for Barbour's womenswear designer collaborations featuring Alice Temperley, Bella Freud and Anya Hindmarch

What We Did

As part of our retained work for long term client, Barbour, we undertook the seasonal launches of their women's designer collaborations

The first collaboration we launched under their Gold Label was in conjunction with Anya Hindmarch – this ran for two seasons. Following this Dust PR London was responsible for instigating their next partnership; with contemporary British womenswear designer Alice Temperley, whose idyllic childhood growing up on a farm was ensconced with deep affection for the brand. This ran between Autumn/Winter 2011 to Spring/Summer 2013. Next Dust PR London introduced Lady Amanda Harlech, Karl Lagerfeld's muse at Chanel to Barbour who then became Creative Director on Gold Label for Autumn/Winter 2013 / 2014

In response to a separate brief regarding development of Barbour's mid layer business, Dust PR London recommended a capsule collaboration with knitwear designer Bella Freud, renowned for her quirky knits and tees providing Barbour with a strong story to leverage awareness. Dust PR introduced Barbour to Bella Freud and the collaborative capsule collection launched for Autumn/Winter 2013 with an intimate press event at Soho House
